Bloomington’s Jefferson and Kennedy high schools will celebrate their annual Peace & Diversity Day on Friday, May 5.
The day’s activities will include the annual peace run, this year departing from Kennedy at 10 a.m. and ending at Jefferson. A Peace Site re-dedication will take place at 10:45 a.m. at Jefferson’s Peace Pole and Peace Garden. Informational diversity booths run by students will also be available during each school’s lunch hour.
Peace & Diversity Day is offered in partnership with the district’s Office of Educational Equity and the City of Bloomington.
