Bloomington Public Schools offers walk-in clinic for students, families

Parents and families are invited to an open house at The Health Commons at Pond, 9600 3rd Ave. S., from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Bloomington Public Schools and Minnesota State University Mankato Graduate School of Nursing are partnering to offer health care for students and families at the clinic. Care is provided by graduate nursing students, supervised by licensed nurse practitioners and faculty.
The health commons care model offers an array of health related services including:
Health screenings and referrals
Infections and minor illnesses
Vision, hearing, dental and early intervention screenings
Bullying prevention and action
Mental health support and referrals
The clinic is open on Mondays from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. No appointment is necessary and care is offered at no cost to Bloomington Public Schools students and families. For more information please call 952-681-6277 or visit bloomingtonschools.org/healthcommons.
